★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この橘神社から荒川までの下り坂とその両脇にわずかに残された煉瓦壁、うどん屋さん、八枝神社などが、平方河岸が反映していたころの面影を僅かにだが感じさせてくれる。
東側に直径８０㎝くらいの鉄の塊が置いてある。機雷なのだろうか？

鳥居をくぐると可愛いい狛犬がお出迎え。
参拝を済ませ八枝神社に戻り、社務所で御朱印を頂きました。
