国道から登ると急な石段になりますので 別当納経所に駐車して 公民館横の山道だと距離も短いし楽な感じがします
また、高松観音は暮れの風物詩《裸餅つき》でも有名です

子供の頃祖父に連れてきてもらったことがあります。祖父はここの観音像と仁王像を「お観音様」、「お仁王様」と呼んでいました。（発音は「おがんのさま」、「おにぉうさま」でした。訛ってますね!）
「お仁王様」を鬼の王様だと勘違いした私は「鬼の王様は赤鬼なの?2人いるの?強いの?」なんて言う事を祖父にきいたら、祖父は笑いながら、鬼ではなく「仁王様」で、もちろん強いので2人でこの入り口を守っているんだと教えてくれました。懐かしい思い出です。

I had my grandfather bring me when I was a kid. My grandfather called the Kannon and Nio statues here "Kannon-sama" and "Nio-sama". (Pronunciations were "Ogan-sama" and "Onio-sama."
I misunderstood "Oniou-sama" as the demon king, and when I asked my grandfather, "Is the demon king a red demon? Are there two? Are you strong?" He told me that he is "Nio-sama" and of course he is strong, so two people are guarding this entrance. It is a nostalgic memory.
