In Gifu and Nagano, you will want oyaki, gohei mochi, and chestnuts. I bought a chestnut soft serve ice cream. It feels good with the grains remaining. Both eat-in and take-out are possible. Located in Tsumagojuku.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 栗のソフトクリームを店内でいただきました。栗きんとんのテイストがあって、これにしてよかったと思いました。パリパリのコーンでコーンの先っぽまで栗テイストアイスが詰まっていました。馬籠宿から歩いての到着だったので、椅子に座って食べることができてよかった。
I had chestnut soft serve in the store. There was a taste of Kuri-kinton, and I was glad I did this. The crispy corn was filled with chestnut-taste ice cream up to the tip of the corn. It was a walk from Magome-juku, so it was nice to be able to sit in a chair and eat.
