★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここのセンターの周囲は環境に非常に配慮した造りになっているが、センターの処理が追いついていない為か(この場合水再生センターが悪いという訳ではない)知らないが硫黄臭が強烈です。
The surroundings of the center are very environmentally friendly, but the sulfur smell is intense, although I don't know if the center's treatment has not caught up (in this case the water reclamation center is not bad).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 砂町は「以前の砂村は江戸湾に近いので伝馬船の小舟で江戸城の不浄門(大奥を含め)より糞尿処理場(その後は砂町処理場です)として搬送した人糞を田畑(人糞は良質な野菜が出来ます)に蒔いて食用や野菜を売って暮らしていた場所」です。その名の通り「砂の田畑でしたので水捌けが良過ぎて野菜が良く育たなく不作も多い(人々の定着率が低い地域の先に新砂を埋め立てをした)」ので、通称、砂町銀座商店街がメインストリートです。昔日より活気が無く地域的に地味で余所から来た住民が多い地域です。最近は砂町水再生センターと成りましたが、何故に上流に無いのかが不可思議です。本所６代目末孫
