松平家の下屋敷邸内にあった社として鎮座、久蔦作左衛門之を祀っています。
新一万円札の渋沢栄一が東京市長の時、市の所有となりましたが戦後は文京区の管理に移りました。一時は荒廃してしまいましたが、地元の有志が社の復興に尽力し今日に至ります。
大塚公園のはじにあり、小さいお社ながら木漏れ日と静けさに包まれた心安らぐ空間です。

Located at the beginning of Otsuka Park, it is a small company with a relaxing space surrounded by sunlight and tranquility.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大塚公園の端にある稲荷神社です。松平家の下屋敷内にあったと書いてあり、なるほどと思って読んでました。古地図を見るとたしかに松平家の屋敷がありました。
変わりゆく風景の中で、こうして少しでも当時の面影が感じられるのはいいですね。
