★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近代的な見た目と裏腹に、結構古くからある区営の公共施設。
昔は視聴覚室（現在の視聴覚室ではなく、現在は学習相談コーナーになっているエリア）でWin95のDos/v機が貸し出されていて、子供の頃にパソコンゲームをやりに来ていたのは良い思い出です。
スカイツリーに大きなプラネタリウムだ出来たので、こちらの小さなものは機材が取り外され、現在はドームホールとして貸し出されています。
昔から変わっていないものと言えば、喫茶店と出張所くらいですが、それも時代の流れなのでしょう・・・
 Contrary to the modern look, this is a municipal public facility that is quite old.
In the old days, Win95 Dos/v machines were rented out in the audio-visual room (not the current audio-visual room but the area that is now the learning consultation section), and when I was a kid I came to play PC games. I have good memories.
Since a large planetarium was created in the Sky Tree, the equipment for this small one was removed, and it is now rented out as a dome hall.
The only things that haven't changed from old days are coffee shops and branch offices.

1階のカフェレストランは、570円でランチがいただけます。
料理の内容は、日替りになります。
東向島三丁目出張所では、公的書類（住民票など）の発行サービスを受けることができます。
私は、ホールで開催される発表会の撮影でいつもお世話になってます。
ひとつ残念なのは、地下駐車場の利用料金です。
いま、民間のタイムパークでは、長時間割引などが設定されていることが多いと思います。
しかし、こちらのパーキングは何時間駐車しても一律料金です。
区営という場所に、あぐらをかかず、もっと区民が魅力を感じる工夫が欲しいところです。
