★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent attention to detail and really great flavor. They don't have cappuccinos because it's completely hand crafted and takes a bit of time as you would expect from a great crafted coffee. Get the cafe au lait and you won't be disappointed.

The beans are not over-roasted, the atmosphere is cozy and quaint, service is very friendly (as is pretty much everywhere else we visited).
The only regret is that I wish I made time on our last day in Sumida to come back for one more cup.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is quite a gem to discover. I was lucky to pass by Sumida Coffee on a casual cycling trip. It’s very small but cozy. I had a latte and it was really warm and nice, the perfect drink to have after cycling in mid-November.
