休業日でも案内をしている方に星ひとつ追加です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 利根川河口から154kmの地点にある可動堰。魚道があり、魚の遡上の様子を観察できる観察室が整備されている。サケが遡上する国内最南端の川らしい。例年アユは５月ごろ、サケは11〜12月ごろに遡上するそうなので、是非見学してみてほしい施設。
A movable weir at 154km from the Tone River estuary. There is a fishway and there is an observation room where you can observe the fish going up and down. It seems to be the southernmost river in Japan where salmon runs up. Ayu is usually going up in May, and salmon is going up in November to December.

この先で武蔵用水・見沼代用水・埼玉用水路の3つに分かれ各地に流れ出している
施設の裏側の広場に、何か重々しい記念碑が多数あり

『ダムカード配布』の貼り紙無かったので、どこで貰えるんだろう？とうろうろしていても声をかけてもらえず、こちらから職員の方に声をかける事でダムカードを頂きました。貼り紙があると分かり易いんですけどね･･･。

権現堂調整池のついでに、、
2階の事務所で利根大堰と武蔵水路の両方を貰えるんですね。
まず屋上の展望台から眺めて、電光掲示板で説明を聴き、自然の観察室でガラス越しに魚道を観察。魚道は3本見えた。
印象としては、大堰の水位の落差と武蔵水路への水量が多いこと。それから、武蔵水路の堰が2重になっていて、流速の調整と堅固さが図られていることですかね。
勉強になりました。

First, look from the observatory on the rooftop, listen to the explanation on the electronic bulletin board, and observe the fishway through the glass in the natural observation room. I saw three fishways.
The impression is that there is a large head drop and a large amount of water to the Musashi Canal. Then, is it that weir of Musashi waterway becomes double, and adjustment of flow velocity and solidity are planned?
I learned a lot.
