開通した当時は、新千里山と言い、亥がいたという。
古かった団地も新しい建物に続々建て替えれて、駅前も綺麗に整備されました。
近くに阪急オアシスや、済生会千里病院や、千里南公園もあります。
吹田祭りの時、千里会場として、千里南公園が利用されます。

The old housing complex was rebuilt one after another with new buildings, and the front of the station was also beautifully maintained.
The Hankyu Oasis, Saiseikai Senri Hospital, and Senri Minami Park are also nearby.

There is a large shopping center (Tonarie Minami Senri) with more than 40 stores nearby. The station is elevated and feels a little old.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always good time when we use public transport in Japan. Safe and secure, even you travel alone in a mid night. Minami Senri provide a waiting room but passenger usualy like to wait outside, also there are chairs for waiting, or they just standby since the train come and go fast and quick on time
