落ち着いた静かなカフェで、店内で陶器の展示販売もしています。
お茶類も普通に美味しい。
ただ…これは私が悪いのですが、納得のいかない出来事がありました。
ある日お茶を飲んでグラスを置いた時に、うっかり落として割ってしまいました。
そのグラスは背が高く、底に行くほど細くなる安定性の悪いグラスで、割とぐらぐらする形状でした。
店主に謝罪し弁償を申し出たところ、
「デザイナーの一点物なので7000円」と言われ、その値段で支払いました。
もちろんグラスを割った私が悪いです。だからこそ弁償もしました。
しかし疑問も残りました。
本当に7000円だったのか？言い値で払ったが、値段の証明がない。
そもそもオシャレだが安定の悪いグラスを店で使うのはどうなのか？
(飲食の経験があれば安定の悪い食器を使わないものだと思う)
と感じました。
何度か利用した店ですが、自分としても苦い記憶になったのでもう行くことはありません。
食器を割った罪悪感と、少しの苦い記憶が混じっています。

One day when I drank tea and put a glass on it, I accidentally dropped it and broke it.
The glass was tall and became less stable as it went to the bottom, and it had a rather wobbling shape.
When I apologized to the shop owner and offered compensation,
I was told, "It's a designer's one-of-a-kind item, so it's 7,000 yen," and I paid at that price.
Of course I'm bad at breaking the glass. That is why I also compensated.
But the question remained.
Was it really 7,000 yen? I paid at the asking price, but there is no proof of the price.
How about using a fashionable but unstable glass in a store?
(If you have experience eating and drinking, I think you should not use unstable tableware)
I felt that.
I've used it several times, but I don't go there anymore because I have a bitter memory.
The feeling of guilt of breaking the tableware is mixed with a bit of bitter memory.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 陶芸の展示が月替わりであり、様々な作風を楽しめます。喫茶での利用ですが、器も一つひとつ違い、季節を感じる工夫がされています。ケーキもホットジンジャーもおいしく、店内も静かで落ち着いた雰囲気でした。
The ceramic art exhibition changes every month, and you can enjoy various styles. Although it is used in a coffee shop, each vessel is different, and it is devised to feel the season. The cake and hot ginger were delicious, and the atmosphere inside the store was quiet and calm.

今日は月曜スリランカカレーの日だったので訪問。
やっぱりスリランカカレーは美味しい、間違いない！
が、流石にギャラリーでの間借りのため、高円寺でのいつも通りの手食が憚られ、スプーンで食べることに。
手食に慣れてしまっているので、少し食べづらかった。
ギャラリーに大好きな和歌山のメーカーの土佐酢が販売されてたのは驚き！
東京で販売されているのを見たことなかった。
今日は買わなかったけど、夏場に土佐酢を多様するシーズンになったら買いに来よう。

I'm used to eating by hand, so it was a little difficult to eat.
I was surprised that Tosa vinegar, a maker of my favorite Wakayama, was sold in the gallery!
I've never seen it sold in Tokyo.
I didn't buy it today, but I'll come to buy it in the summer when it's the season for various Tosa vinegars.
