★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本願寺第3代覚如宗主(かくにょそうしゅ)が百済大寺の跡に和州百済二條道場(わしゅうくだらにじょうどうじょう)として建武2(1335)年に建立したものです。康正元(1445)年百済より現在の地へ移転し永正10(1503)年、寺号を二條名称寺と許可され、実如上人より御影が下付されました。その後、石山合戦となり元亀3(1572)年9月4日当寺からも出陣しましたが、織田方の軍勢に攻められ陥落しました。現存する掘割は当時のものと考えられます。
 It was built in 1335 by the 3rd Kakunyo Suzerain of Honganji Temple as the Wasshu Baekje Nijo Dojo on the site of Baekje Daianji Temple. In 1445, he moved to the present location from Baekje, and in 1503, the temple name was granted as Nijo Name Temple, and the shadow was given by his superior. After that, it became the Ishiyama battle, and on September 4, 1572, he also departed from this temple, but was attacked by the army of Oda and fell. The existing cuts are considered to be those of the time.
