★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 住宅建材メーカーでお馴染みの『旭化成』の工場。ここに出入りするトラックは、石材やボードなどを運んだり持ち込んだりしているから、おそらくはその手の製品を手掛けているのだろう。
この旭化成工場の周辺は、境町の工業地帯、境工業団地と言うように様々な工業関係の企業や工場が立ち並んでいる。それらの会社に出入りする車は大型トラックが多い。
幸いにもこの近辺での事故の話はあまり聞かないが、駐車場所が無くて会社付近に路駐しているトラックも時たま見かけるので、近辺を走行する際は注意してください。
特にこの周辺は『境第二中学校』の通学圏内にも含まれるので、学生の事故にも注意してください。
