★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 発電所の敷地内にある「わくわくらんど」（海側の道路から入れます）に行きました。
無料で、だれでもはいれます。室内と外にも遊具があり、小さな子供とても喜びます。飲食もOKなので、お弁当を持って行くとあまりお金を使わないで一日遊べます。すこし安いドリンクの自販機は有りますが、売店はありませんでした。
4月30日に行ってきました。
GWで第一駐車場がいっぱいになるほど混んていました。
イベントで発電所の中を見学出来ました。エレベーターで5階へ上がり、タービンと中央制御室を見学し、バスで敷地内を見学できました。
この発電所は、東北電力と東京電力の共同発電所で、石炭にバイオマス（木のペレット）を3%混ぜて発電しているそうで、一日に一万五千トンの石炭を燃やして1号機、2号機それぞれ百万キロワット、合わせニ百万キロワットの発電ができるそうです。5月もちがうイベントの第ニ弾を企画してました。
I went to "Wakuwaku Land" (enter from the road on the sea side) on the premises of the power plant.
It's free and anyone can enter. There are playground equipment both inside and outside, which makes children happy. Eating and drinking is also OK, so if you bring a lunch, you can play all day without spending much money. There was a vending machine for a slightly cheaper drink, but there was no shop.
I went there on April 30th.
It was so crowded that the first parking lot was full in GW.
I was able to tour the inside of the power plant at the event. I took the elevator to the 5th floor, visited the turbine and central control room, and took a bus to see the site.
This power plant is a joint power plant of Tohoku Electric Power Company and Tokyo Electric Power Company, and it seems that it is generating electricity by mixing 3% of biomass (wood pellets) into coal. It burns 15,000 tons of coal per day. It is possible to generate power of 1 million kilowatts for Units 1 and 2, and a combined power of 1 million kilowatts. I was planning the second event of a different event in May.
