京都本能寺にの戦乱の後に掘り起こされ、信長公が身につけられていたと伝わる「焼兜」が展示されています。
所縁の品自体が希少な信長公ですので、行かれてみるのも良いかと思えます。
多数は在りませんが駐車場も在ります。

興聖山総見院は臨済宗妙心寺派の末寺である。
織田信雄(のぶかつ)が父・信長を弔うために伊勢国桑名郡の安国寺を引き取り、忠嶽和尚を開山に迎え天正十一年(1583)に現在の地に「景陽山総見寺」を建立した。しかし、慶長十五年(1610)「清須越し」によって名古屋大須に移る。
名古屋総見寺の三代住職閩山永吃(みんざんえいきつ)和尚は、尾張初代藩主・徳川義直公と亀姫(徳川家康公長女)の御両人から並々ならぬ帰依を受け、義直公自らが開基大檀那となって正保元年(1644)「興聖山總見院」を現在の地に創建し、閩山和尚を開山に迎え、信長公の菩提を弔うよう命じたのが始まりである。
