応永年間(1394～1428)、
四代将軍足利義持の命により、
四国讃岐から三河国宝飯郡中条郷牧野村の
地頭として移ってきた田口伝蔵左衛門成富。
彼はこの牧野の地でこの城を築き、
名を牧野に改めている。
かつて豊川の川筋はこの城の
西側を流れていたという。
その自然堤防上にこの城は築かれている。
今となっては南側の土塁を
わずかに残すのみである。

行き方
Googleナビで牧野城跡にセットすると
行けます。
駐車場
無しです。但し交通量は多く無いので
路駐で大丈夫です。
感想
周りはビニールハウスだらけですが
良く残してくれたと思います。
