は	はるのゆいたろう on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「花巻城」は元々は地元の豪族が支配する鳥谷ヶ崎城と呼ばれていたとようですが、整備されたスペース名にその名称がわずかに残っています。花巻城と名付けて城下町を含めて整備したのは盛岡藩主となった南部氏です。花巻周辺は南部藩の中では石高も高く、とても重要な場所だったようです。更に南の伊達家とも接していたので防衛上も大切な城だったハズです。高低差をうまく活かした縄張りで、遺構もかなり残っています。一部では門も復元されています。地元の方の散歩道としては問題無いですが、駐車場や案内看板等、外から訪問するにはまだまだ未整備だと感じました。もっと史跡として打ち出して欲しいです。 It seems that "Hanamaki Castle" was originally called Toyagasaki Castle, which is controlled by the local lords, but the name remains slightly in the name of the space that was maintained.
