As the name suggests, it is located on Mt. Ariko above Izushi Castle. It is the main castle of Mr. Tajima Mamoru Yamana. While being surprised at the beauty of the stone walls of Izushijo, you will soon see the entrance to Arikoyama Castle when you climb the stairs under many torii gates. Be careful of bears! I brought a bear bell because there was something like that, but the local junior high school students run up in light clothing! It's amazing physical strength. It is a 1km one-way mountain trail, but the slope is steep only for the first 500m. It is easy to win from the middle point, but in fact, the flat ground at the middle point is the northern end of the northern Kuruwa group, so if you climb the Kuruwa from there to the south, you will come out directly under the main enclosure. If you go along the mountain trail, you can see a splendid Horikiri at the tip if you deviate to the northwestern Kuruwa group on the way. There are also Horikiri and Vertical moat at the western end of the castle ruins. From there, cross the Ishidori ground and head east to see a huge vertical moat (just south of the main enclosure). If you go east on the road south of Senjojiki, you will see a magnificent vertical moat again. The vertical moat of this castle is spectacular. The masonry of Senjojiki remains. After that, if you look closely at the stone pavement, the earthworks (?), And the stone stairs leading to the stone base, it is very interesting. There are quite a lot of stone walls, but most of them are by Hidenaga Hashiba. However, it is a little disappointing that there are collapse prevention nets here and there.
