★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一関市台町の〔祥雲寺〕の前の道は〔はさま街道〕と呼ばれる道で、元禄２年５月１４日に芭蕉と曽良が一関から岩出山に向かった道とされる。〔はさま街道起点〕の説明板と共に、〔芭蕉の道標〕と呼ばれる小さな碑が建っている。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2020年10月13日に訪問しました。一ノ関の歴史を知るには、外せない寺院です。伊達藩の伊達騒動で伊達兵部宗勝が土佐に配流になり、領主が田村家に変わりました。田村氏の菩提寺が、ここ祥雲寺です。転封される以前の田村氏の領地は、岩沼市でしたので、この御寺の前身も岩沼市にありました。累代の藩主が眠る墓所が、階段の奥に有ります。近年、伊達兵部一族の菩提寺で、明治に廃寺になった豊谷寺の墓碑をこの御寺が引き取って供養しておられるそうです。また、忠臣蔵の御縁で浅野内匠頭の慰霊碑も建立されています。
I visited on October 13, 2020. It is a must-see temple to know the history of Ichinoseki. Date Munekatsu was exiled to Tosa due to the Date Sodo of the Date feudal clan, and the lord changed to the Tamura clan. Tamura's family temple is here at Shounji. Before the transfer, Mr. Tamura's territory was Iwanuma City, so the predecessor of this temple was also in Iwanuma City. There is a graveyard at the back of the stairs where successive feudal lords sleep. In recent years, at the Bodaiji Temple of the Date Hyobu clan, this temple is said to have taken over the tombstone of Toyoya Temple, which was abandoned in the Meiji era. In addition, a memorial monument to Takumi Asanouchi has been erected at the edge of Chushingura.
