Japanese supermarket don't sell stuffs that is inedible (e.g. household items such as detergent or soap), which is different from our concept of supermarket. But that's okay, because you can find almost every ingredients for your Japanese cooking experiments of various quality, from rice, noodles, instant food, ready-to-eat meals, sweets, meat, fruit, vegetable, herbs, oils, sauces, and many more. Compared to Indonesia, the quality is obviously much higher and the price is far cheaper (a 250 g of very marbled thick shabu-shabu Wagyu slices are only ¥1,350 or ¥760 after dark). But compared to major Japanese store, these neighbourhood supermarkets selection is surely feels quite limited, especially on the seafood department. SP is conveniently located within walking distance from Higashimikuni station, if you stay within this neighbourhood. There are other services located within the venue such as tailor or laundry.
