V	Vladimyr Cessant on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I guess its really hit or miss here. Dude made me wait for over an hour even though I was on time. While he was cutting he was watching Netflix at the same time and talking on his phone. If he was really good, like a clean shape up I would forgive him but at best, the cut was mediocre. If you are looking for a black barber in Tokyo their are alternatives (Room 806 for example). If I had an emergency I would go back but that is only in a desperate situation. I dont mean to diss the owner, he is a nice dude, but its a shame the unprofessional-ism takes away from his service

Tamru's haircuts are the best in all of Japan and maybe even Asia, but the service is only a small part of what this establishment has to offer. The elite clientele Tamru has cultivated over the years including world class sushi chefs, professional athletes, english teachers, and music industry insiders and more, makes this place a cultural landmark in Tokyo. On any given day, you can come here and get a true barbershop experience and the best fade this side of the Pacific.

Get ready for a skilled, precise cut. Takes his time to ensure it's "just so", and it is. Also a great gent to have a conversation with. Doesn't mind some "locker room talk", so be ready go some good hearted banter!

If you’re looking for a good black barber, then you will definitely not be disappointed with what you get. He knows what he’s doing and will give you the look you really want. Looks like he’ll be closing up shop soon but if you can get his contact info he should still be able to cut your hair. Support black businesses!

The shop was very clean, the owner was very professional, and he did an excellent job. If I'm ever in the area again, I will for sure be stopping by here again. Thanks!
