 It is a temple beside Katsukawa Kōpo, but the statue of Nio beside the entrance is impressive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大弘法さまは１８メートルと珍しいらしく、また勝川弘法市でも有名でしょうか。居眠り地蔵さま、おもかるさまも親しまれています。
It is unusual for Okobo to be 18 meters, and is it famous also in Katsukawa Hiroho city? Nozomi Jizou and Momoka are also familiar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 勝川の、ある意味シンボルとなっているお大師さまの巨像。愛知県は浄土真宗が盛んな割に弘法大師信仰が盛んなようで、時々この様な弘法大師像を見かけます。知多四国八十八ヶ所巡礼なんかもありますし。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 僕には当たり前の存在と慣れ親しんだ場所です。規模を誇るでもなく、主張し過ぎるわけでもなく。気軽に立ち寄れて掃除の行き届いた場所です。それはご住職の人柄と周囲の温かい手によるものでしょう。
狭い空間から像を見上げると、空の高さをあらためて感じることができます。
It is a place where I am familiar with the existence and the common sense. It is neither proud of nor overly assertive. Feel free to drop in and be a clean place. It will be due to the character of the residence and the warm hands of the surroundings.
Looking up at the image from the narrow space, you can feel the height of the sky again.

ふとした切っ掛けでこちらの存在を知り近く迄来たので立ち寄りました。勝川の正に駅近くにこの様な場所があるとは知りませんでした。境内には弘法大師様の大きい立像があり迫力満点です。
お寺の方は気さくにご挨拶をされとても感じが良いですね。弘法大師様の立像には裏から入る事が出来ます。また、本堂にも入る事が出来て御守を買い求める事も出来ます。
本堂前には『林崇彦さん著作 道しるべ』の冊子が置いてあり自由に持帰り出来ます。小袋に入ったお菓子もあり自由に持ち帰られます。
この『道しるべ』ですが読んでみると中々面白く時間が経つのを忘れてしまいます。現地で弘法大師様の立像の下で読み耽るのもまた楽しいですね!

I suddenly found out about this existence and came close to it, so I stopped by. I didn't know that there was such a place near the station right in Kachigawa. There is a large statue of Kobo Daishi in the precincts, which is impressive.
The people at the temple are very nice to say hello. You can enter the statue of Kobo Daishi from the back. You can also enter the main hall and buy amulets.
In front of the main hall, there is a booklet of "Michishirube written by Takahiko Hayashi" that you can take home freely. There are also sweets in sachets that you can take home with you.
When I read this "Michishirube", it's interesting and I forget the passage of time. It's also fun to read under the statue of Kobo Daishi in the field!
