大垣市船町に〔正覚寺〕という寺があり、県道３１号線沿いの入口に史蹟　芭蕉木因遺跡と記した標柱が建っている。本堂の前に句碑や塚がまとめられている。１）〔尾花塚〕芭蕉翁　元禄七戌年十月十二日元禄８年（１６９５）１月１２日、芭蕉の百日追善忌に建立されたもので、日本最古の翁塚の一つと言われる（最も古い翁塚は名古屋市の誓願寺のもの）。２）芭蕉句碑あかあかと日はつれなくも秋の風　はせを翁元禄２年（１６８９）、奥の細道の旅で読まれた句。３）梅花佛各務支考の供養塔４）木因墓この他に、美濃派の俳人の句を刻んだ発句塚（２基）、冬恕碑なども建っている。
