★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 慶長年間(1596〜1614)に仙台市覺範寺開山「虎哉禅師」の弟子「益翁禅怡和尚」が此の地に草庵を結び「中津山普門院」と称した。元和年中(1615〜23)涌谷領主伊達安芸重宗公の叔父、亘理備後重次公が和尚の徳風に帰依し伽羅を改建したので、開基とする。万治2年備後公逝去、法号を「松壽院殿前備州一夢了醒大禅定門」と称する。後、「普門院」を改め「松壽院」と号した。
During the Keicho era (1596-1614), the disciple of "Toraya Zen Master", who opened Kakubanji Temple in Sendai City, tied Soan to this area and called it "Nakatsuyama Fumonin". During the Genna year (1615-23), the uncle of Shigemune Date Aki, the lord of Wakuya, and Shigeji Watari Bigo rebuilt the Kyara due to the virtue of Osho. After the death of Bigo in the 2nd year of Manji, the law is called "Matsujuin-denmae Bishu Ichimu Awakening Daizen Gate". Later, "Fumonin" was renamed "Matsujuin".
