★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2018年4月29日に訪れました。4月にしてはちょっと暑い日でしたのでこの湧水、飲みたいな・・・と思いましたが、「飲める」とは書いてありませんでしたので我慢しました。見た感じとても清らかな水がとうとうと出ていました。飲みたいな・・・・(^_^;)
 I visited on April 29, 2018. It was a little hot day in April, so I thought I would like to drink this spring water, but I didn't say "drinkable", so I put up with it. As I saw it, the pure water was finally coming out. I want to drink...(^_^;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この湧水自体どうということもないが、白子宿周辺は文字通り東京と埼玉の間のエアポケットで、成増とも和光市とも雰囲気が異なる。昭和の田舎町の風情がまだ残っている。坂道が多く道も狭いので散歩には向かないが、独特な魅力のある地区だと思う。
The spring itself is irrelevant, but the area around Shirako-juku is literally an air pocket between Tokyo and Saitama, and the atmosphere is different between Narimasu and Wako. The atmosphere of the rural town of Showa still remains. There are many slopes and the roads are narrow, so it is not suitable for a walk, but I think it is a uniquely attractive area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 湧水の量はしっかりしている。急な坂の中腹にあり、少し休めるようにもなっているので、ゆっくり観察できる。ここの湧水を地域の人たちに大事にされているのがわかる。ここを維持管理されている方に感謝。
The amount of spring water is solid. It's located on a steep hillside and you can rest a little, so you can observe slowly. You can see that the springs here are cherished by the locals. Thank you to those who maintain this site.

可愛い草花に囲まれて僅かに落ちる水が垣間見える程度でしたが水の音に惹かれます。
その昔の姿を想像できる解説があって良い雰囲気です。
また、この坂は映画「MOTHER マザー」にも出てきましたね。
