★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 中山競馬場の北側、北方十字路（歴史的には「ボッケ」と読むのだが、新住民が増えていつの間にか「キタカタ」が定着した模様）のかたわらにある。
神社そのものは、氏子のみなさんが守っている小ぶりなものだが、朱色も鮮やかな鳥居が数本立っていて、華やいだ印象を受ける。
境内に、「南無妙法蓮華経法界」と大書された石碑が建ち、残る３面にはそれぞれ「是歳享保十六年辛亥七月日 村々檀越助成志諸精霊並妙理信女」「従是右中山法華経寺道」「奉唱提婆品一万四千巻 奉巡礼二千箇所寺成就 願主中山通道日圓（？）欽建立之」と彫られている。1731年というから、300年近く経っている。歴史のある地区なのだな。
It is on the north side of Nakayama Racecourse, beside the Northern Crossroads (historically read as "Bocke", but while the number of new residents is increasing, "Kitakata" seems to have taken root).
The shrine itself is a small one protected by all the children, but there are a few torii gates with vivid vermilion, which gives a gorgeous impression.
In the precinct, there is a stone monument with the title "Minami Mukyoho Renka Keihokai", and the remaining three faces are "Kurei Kyoho 16th year of July, July 7th, Murandan Koshigei Zojorei Myouri Nori no Meme". It is engraved as "Nakayama Hokageji Temple Road", "Songs of the Religious Proposal 14,000 volumes, pilgrimage to the 2,000 places of temple ceremonies, the priest Nakayama Michimichi Nien (?) Kin Tateyuki". Since 1731, it has been nearly 300 years. It's a historical district.

敷地は小さいが、
境内は綺麗にされていて、
地域の方々との結びつきを感じた。
競馬をする前にここでお詣りをしたら、
儲かったなどと言う話はあるのだろうか？
