由緒 社伝によると、元和二年(1616)十一月十六日の棟札に、奉造立本野村天王八王子とあり、この時の創建と伝えられています。この村は市田村の出郷で元村の産土神(伊知多神社)を勧請したもので、寛文十二年(1672)の棟札では宮座持ちの神社でありました。弘化二年(1845)以降の棟札には牛頭天王一座とあります。明治になり制度の改めにより進雄神社と改称しました。明治六年一月、村社に列格しました。(「氏神さまとまつり」より抜粋)
Honno Susumu Shrine
According to Yukishaden, the building bill of Honnomura Tenno Hachioji on the 16th of November 1616 was reportedly founded at this time. This village was the origin of Ichida Village, and was a souvenir of Ichita Shrine (Ichita Shrine). It was a shrine owned by the Miyaza on the building bill in 1672. There is a Ushimado Tenno Izato on the postcard in 1845. In the Meiji era, the name was changed to Shino Shrine due to the reform of the system. In January 1868, he was listed as a village company.
