★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「杵築神社」（きづきじんじゃ）「新福寺」奈良県大和郡山市
この「杵築神社」（きづきじんじゃ）の鳥居をくぐると直ぐ左に「新福寺」の本堂があります。宗祖弘法大師の御教えを組み、信じ、近年では先々代佐々木瑞範和尚・先代義範和尚によって戦前戦後に亘り細々と守り継がれた、真言宗豊山派（総本山長谷寺）の小さな町の小さな寺院です。
本寺は古来、僧侶の修行場であったり地域支配の殿様（片桐氏一族）の祈願所であり、加護を受けて維持・継承されてきたと思われます。平成28年10月に再建がされています。
奈良には「杵築神社」（きづきじんじゃ）の名を持つ神社が三十数社、奈良盆地の中程に集中するように配置されています。八坂神社は奈良県内の様々な場所にありますが、杵築神社だけが奈良盆地の低地部にあり、山間部の杵築神社はごく僅かです。この神社の由緒等は不明です。

After passing through the torii gate of this "Kizuki Jinja", you will find the main hall of "Shinfukuji" on your left. It is a small temple in a small town of the Shingon sect Toyoyama school (Hase-dera, the head temple), which was built and believed in the teachings of Kobo Daishi, and was carefully preserved by the predecessors Mizunori Sasaki and Yoshinori Yoshinori in recent years.
Since ancient times, the main temple has been a training ground for monks and a prayer place for the lord of the region (Katagiri clan), and it is believed that it has been maintained and inherited with protection. It was rebuilt in October 2016.
In Nara, there are more than thirty shrines with the name "Kizuki Jinja", which are located in the middle of the Nara Basin. Yasaka Shrine is located in various places in Nara Prefecture, but only Kizuki Shrine is located in the lowlands of the Nara Basin, and there are only a few Kizuki Shrines in the mountains. The history of this shrine is unknown.
