★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 由利本荘市桶屋町の子吉川沿い、由利橋近くに鎮座する神明社です。御祭神は天照大御神、豊宇気大神。元禄3年（1690）、本荘藩4代藩主の六郷政晴公による創建と伝えられます。境内の松の木ですが、幹が根本から地を這うように横倒しとなったあと、垂直に立ち上がっています。このような状態になった経緯は不明ですが、木の生命力、逞しさを感じられます。
 It is a Shinmei shrine located near the Yuri Bridge along the Koyoshi River in Okeya Town, Yurihonjo City. The deities are Amaterasu Okami and Toyouke Okami. It is said that it was founded in 1690 by Masaharu Rokugo, the 4th feudal lord of the Honjo feudal clan. It is a pine tree in the precincts, but it stands upright after the trunk has laid down like crawling from the root. It is unknown how this happened, but you can feel the vitality and sturdiness of the tree.
