★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 茨木童子が小川に自分のすがたを映して鬼であることを知ったという「茨木童子貌見橋」の石碑があります。
地元の人たちが木製の記念碑を橋のたもとに建てておられたが、雨風にたたかれ文字もよく読みとれないようになっていたそうで昭和50（1975）年に当時の新庄町自治会長が記念碑をつくり市に寄贈されたものだそうです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 茨木高校の門の前に案内板が。少し離れた東側の通り沿いに石碑があります。石碑から繋がる小径が川だったのかな？ここから川に自分の姿を映して見たところ「ワシ、鬼になってるやーん！！」って気付いたなんて興味深い伝承ですね！
There is an information board in front of the gate of Ibaraki High School. There is a stone monument along the eastern street a little further away.
