★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 草津祭りの一コマです。御神輿を綱で引いてます。本来は、皆で担いで町内を廻っていたそうですが、若い参加者の不足のためと 人数が少なく、担げない！と言う状況下でこうなりました。なんだか伝統行事が薄れていってるような気がしますね。
This is a scene from the Kusatsu Festival. I'm pulling the sacred shrine with a rope. Originally, everyone seems to have been traveling around the town, but because of the lack of young participants, the number of people is too small to carry! It became like this under the situation. I feel that the traditional events are fading.
