★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Japan is huge on trains and it is something that has escaped me since I was a kid (I loved trains as a kid), but in the states that I have lived, the train system has been ignored and the driving the car is the way to go.

So going to SL (steam locomotive) Plaza was nice for myself and my son. It is just a old train on diplay near the station. Most of the time, people are smoking right next to the train, but you'll always find people taking a picture of it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A decent square but with little to no places to sit. Lots of people just standing (I am assuming they are playing Pokemon GO). The old steam loco is photogenic. There is a small light show and music performance during Christmas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is very famous landmark/meeting point at Shimbashi Station. Around this there are many good restaurants and cafe. Easy to find. Next time if you want to meet someone in Shimbashi, tell him/her to meet at SL Square landmark.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Steam Locomotive Square is large enough and meeting point in Shinbashi. If you meet someone, you could better connect at the dog or lion statues to the left. Seems like they have a traffic safety campaign on now.
