★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is also a big, nice and clean station. Many lines, inclusing shinkansen pass this station. Guards were polite and helpful when I needed their help to get me a ticket for shinkansen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simpler and less crowded than Tokyo station, but very accessible to JR and other metro lines. This is probably the best station to transfer, if you go from Osaka/Kyoto to Tokyo. It also looks cleaner and well organised than other stations.

Great connections to Haneda & Narita Airports.
One of the stops for NEX, Narita Express.
Security Lockers available which is useful for people with heavy luggages.
Eating and drinking establishments on the premises are substantial.
Helpful staffs.
Always crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the biggest stations of Tokyo where one could experience a glimpse of digital Tokyo. It’s spacious long walking routes remain busy throughout the day. Digital screens looked spectacular to me.
This is a perfect place for professional photographers to capture a moment of busy city life/ the tired faces behind the mask during this pandemic situation at Japan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the busiest stations in the world. At peak time you can almost float along just carried by the people.
It’s pretty utilitarian and lacks some of the flourishes or other stations in Japan.
But you can get a train to just about anywhere in Japan from here.
There are a lot of food options, lots of different cuisines. The staff are very helpful, which is a good job as it can feel rather vast. But there will be someone to help you get to where you need.
