竹	竹村尚人 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昭和62年（1987年）6月に地域の要望で開館したのが荏原区民センターです。地域の8町会が運営委員を作り品川区の委託を受け、管理運営を行っている多目的施設です。図書館は蔵書約20,000冊です。図書館にない本でも区内の他の図書館より取り寄せることもできます。「ひろば」（屋外）、「レクホール」（2階）開放しています。毎日午前中はゲートボールやグランドゴルフに、午後は小学生などの遊び場に、2階のレクホールは水、土、日曜の午後を一般に開放しています。ボール遊びもできますヨ。お部屋を貸出しています。今年はなかなか大勢で集まることができないでいますが、普段ならカラオケ大会、囲碁大会、映画会等を開催しています。休館日は、センターが毎月第3月曜日、図書館が毎月第1、3月曜日です。駐輪場あり、駐車場はありません。（以上、荏原区民センターだより第172号より抜粋） The Ebara Ward Citizens Center was opened in June 1987 at the request of the local community. It is a multipurpose facility that is managed and operated by eight local neighborhood associations that have been commissioned by Shinagawa Ward to form steering committee members. The library has a collection of about 20,000 books. Books that are not in the library can be ordered from other libraries in the ward. "Open space" (outdoor) and "Lek Hall" (2nd floor) are open. Gateball and ground golf are open every morning, playgrounds for elementary school students in the afternoon, and the lek hall on the second floor is open to the public on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sunday afternoons. M	MN SY on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 建物は古いが、図書室、会議室、和室と小さな運動場を持つコミュニティセンター（プールはない）。図書室は区立図書館の傘下でなく地域の人が運営している非常に珍しい形態で、書店がほぼ絶滅しているこの地域ならではのニーズに合った蔵書となっている。子供向け書籍、大人向け雑誌、旅行ガイド等充実。教育熱心なエリアなのか中学受験をする家庭向け雑誌のプレジデントファミリーが、シニア向け散歩の達人、クロワッサン、商品企画者向け日経トレンディと並んで置かれているのが特徴的。個人的に気になるのはがん放置治療セカンドオピニオンで医療従事者間で問題視されている近藤誠氏の書籍を目立つ位置に常時置いていること。大学病院近隣なのに運営側にそういう思想の人がいるのかと思うと軽く恐怖。休館日も少なく開館時間も長い。運営スタッフをどう賄っているのか不安になるレベル。図書貸出は２週間&４冊まで The building is old, but it is a community center with a library, a meeting room, a Japanese-style room and a small playground (no pool). The library is a very rare form run by local people, not under the umbrella of the ward library, and has a collection of books that meets the needs of this region, where bookstores are almost extinct. Books for children, magazines for adults, travel guides, etc. are enriched. Perhaps it is an area that is enthusiastic about education. It is characteristic that the president family of home magazines taking junior high school exams is placed alongside senior walk masters, croissants, and Nikkei Trendy for product planners. Personally, I'm always worried about Makoto Kondo's book, which is regarded as a problem among medical professionals in the second opinion of cancer neglect treatment, in a prominent position. I was a little scared when I thought that there was a person with such an idea on the management side even though it was near the university hospital.
