Y	Yasuhisa Abe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1914年に下津井東駅として開業、後に東下津井駅と改称、1991年廃止。 2面2線だっだが、末期は交換設備を廃止して1面1線となっていた。現在は駅舎は残ってないが2面のプラットホーム跡が残っており、最後まで使用された南側のホームに模擬駅名標が設置されている。しかし草が生えまくっていて保存状態はいいとは言えず、またホームの高さが異様に低く（おそらく歩道の方がかさ上げされている）、駅名標がなかったら駅跡とは気付きにくい。鷲羽山駅からそれ程離れていないが瀬戸大橋はほとんど見えない。廃線前の写真では山に囲まれた秘境駅のように見えるが、実際はそこまででもない。児島方にある跨線橋は当時の写真では見えないので、廃線後に完成したようだ。なお、当駅～下津井駅間に「しもついふきあげ花公園」という、廃線にも関わらず謎の新駅が開業したらしい。 Opened as Shimotsui Higashi Station in 1914, later renamed Higashi Shimotsui Station, abolished in 1991. It was a two-sided two-line system, but at the end of the period, the exchange equipment was abolished and one side was one line. Currently, there is no station building left, but two platform traces remain, and a simulated station name sign is installed on the platform on the south side that was used until the end. However, the grass is growing and it is not well preserved, the height of the platform is unusually low (probably the sidewalk is raised), and it is hard to notice the station trace without the station name sign. Not far from Washiuzan Station, but you can hardly see the Seto Ohashi Bridge. In the photo before the discontinuation of the line, it looks like an unexplored station surrounded by mountains, but in reality it is not so much. The overpass on the Kojima side cannot be seen in the photographs at that time, so it seems that it was completed after the line was discontinued. In addition, it seems that a mysterious new station called "Shimotsui Fukiage Hana Park" has opened between this station and Shimotsui station despite the discontinuation of the line.
