★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 幕末戊辰戦争時、京の反幕勢力が、当初送り込んだのが赤報隊、まさに魁(先駆け)。ただ動乱期で偽官軍として歴史上抹殺される。隊長の相楽総三以下八名が処刑されたと言う｡｡。最初ここに行ったときは、「ここがあの赤報隊・相楽総三たちの魁塚...」と感動したことを記憶しております。

大変綺麗に保たれていました。
お墓ですが失礼して写真を撮らせて頂きました。

激動の時代に生きた漢達が今の時代を見たらどう思うだろうか。
倒幕の為に相楽を中心に結成された新政府側の組織である赤報隊であったが、最後は新政府から汚名を着せられ処刑されてしまう悲しき物語りの終焉の地。
幕府は倒され新政府も倒れ、敗戦から世の中はすっかり平和ボケの時代となり、今はコロナに踊らされた窮屈な世になってしまった。
また、刀で人を斬る時代から核ミサイルで人を脅す時代となり、ネットで人を攻撃する時代にもなってしまっている。
しかしこの漢達が立ち上がらなかったならば、徳川幕府の時代が未だに続き、鎖国されたままの北朝鮮のような国のままだったのかもしれない。
犠牲があっての平和であるのだが、彼等の行動こそ今ある世の礎であり魁であり、こうして平和に暮らせることに感謝しかない。
