大正九年の大災害を機に、西小屋地区河川改修と耕地復旧の大工事が昭和四年に完成した。これが「西小屋の滝」です。水量の豊かな季節、流れ落ちる滝の景観は素晴らしいものがある。
人工の滝のようですが、増水で迫力ありました。
