★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近年の書店のカタチ。書店にカフェ、CDショップ、レンタルDVD、中古。規模が比較的大きいので、ふらりと立ち寄って、棚を見ながら知らない作家、アーティストを見付ける楽しみ方をかろうじてできます。今はこういうのができなくなってます、地方ほど。
それでも救いなのは、書店員さんの少なくない人が、本好きなこと。作家の名前、作品名を挙げればすぐに本のある棚に案内してくれる人がいます。
問題はCD、DVD。大して音楽も映像も興味が無さげな人が多い印象(みどり書房の話ではなく、総じて、です)。訊ねると、在庫管理のパソコン叩いて「あります」「ありません」。がっかりします。店員は取り扱っている商品に愛着を持っていてください。

本、音楽、飲食、どれも好きですがワンフロアで全部一緒にまとめ、パテーションで区切られていないので落ち着かないです。
大好きな北欧雑貨の期間限定イベント開催中なので初めて行きました。演出が下手な上に商品点数が少なく、小物ばかりなのでつまらなかったです。残念です。唯一、CD入れを買いましたがテレビリモコン入れにしました。
