A beautiful theater with nice stairs right after entering. There seems to be a surrounding area, so be careful before and after watching the play.

浜松町駅から10分くらい歩きました。
タクシーだと駅から500円しなかったです。
It's a small and cozy theater.
I walked about 10 minutes from Hamamatsucho station.
It didn't cost 500 yen from the station if it was a taxi.

It is a theater of the Shiki Theater Company, and the building has a fashionable appearance reminiscent of Art Deco. The inside of the theater is reasonably sized and easy to see from any seat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Shiki theater produces high-quality Broadway style musicals and plays in Japanese. I've caught two shows there --- "West Side Story" and "The Lion King." Both were exceptionally well-danced, almost completely expertly sung, and beautifully costumed and staged. This location has two of the four theaters that they have in Tokyo, and one of them has had Disney's "The Lion King" playing there for over 17 years. I do not know Japanese, but it was a fascinating experience to watch a Japanese audience react to live theater. Tickets can be hard to purchase if you are outside of Japan, and the English website is hilariously out-of-date. Shows almost always sell out, especially the Disney ones. They have a very limited number of standing-room-only tickets available on the day of at these theaters, which you can currently get for ¥3000, but that will probably be your only opportunity unless you plan ahead.
