A deer was grazing leisurely. When the weather is nice, you can see the peninsula across the sea. Be careful of deer droppings when basking in the sun.

文字通り、鹿メインの公園ですが、公園とは言っても柵はないので、誤って崖下に落ちないように。子供連れは要注意です。
About 40 minutes from Onagawa fishing port. Landed at Mt. Kinka for 3,500 yen round trip. There are traces of deer all over the island.
Literally, it's a deer-main park, but even though it's a park, there are no fences, so don't accidentally fall under a cliff. Be careful with children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日本とは思えない…素晴らしい光景。まさに鹿の楽園です。神聖なる鹿が住む島ですので、そっと見るようにしましょう。次回は金華山に泊まってゆっくりしたいです。
I don't think it's Japan... a wonderful sight. It's a deer paradise. This is an island where sacred deer live, so let's take a quick look. Next time, I want to stay at Kinkazan and relax.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 金華山に生息する鹿をかまえる場所。名目上公園となっているが、特に何かがあるという訳ではなくて島内の草地に佇み草を食んでいる鹿がいる。
別に鹿を構う必要はないけど、せっかくいるんだから餌の一つもあげたくなる訳で、祈禱者待合所の端のほうに鹿の餌(100円)があるので、この白い紙袋を持って歩くと餌を認識した特にふてぶてしいヤツが、ついつい餌に引き寄せられてしまう正直すぎる行動がなんとも憎めないのだ。餌を持っていなければ人間のことなど意に介さずといった感じだが、餌をいつまでも手に持っているとヒョイヒョイと傍に寄ってきてヨダレでベタベタの口でなめ回されてしまうので注意だ。
ちなみに、神社のお土産売り場で鹿の角が3万円！で売っていたけど、買ってどうしようというのだろう？
