林	林雅彦 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ＪＲ成田線の駅です。成田線最後の駅です(松岸駅は、総武本線のため)かつては、銚子市立銚子西高校の最寄り駅でした。銚子西高校は、２００８年に銚子市立銚子高校と統合してなくなり、今は跡地に銚子スポーツタウンが作られています。駅の周りは古い住宅地となっています。国道は利根川沿いに移り、利根かもめ大橋の近くであることから、対岸の神栖市の住民も使う駅となっています。駅は、無人駅で、入口に簡易式のSuica読み取り機があります。 JR Narita Line station.
