華やかさでは桜淵公園の方に軍配が上がりますが、こちらはでは喧騒も遠く、静かに桜を愛でるといった風情です。
水面に反射する様子や、散った花びらが岸辺に寄り集まっている様子も美しいですね。
また、重川池の奥は湿地となっており散策路も整備されているので、自然散策にも適しています。湿地に鎮座するアカメヤナギの大木はとても立派で、桜の時期以外でも静かに癒しの時間が送れそうです。
