★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 豊浦地区が平成の大合併で、新発田市の一部になる前の独立した豊浦町だった頃に建てられた庁舎です。赤レンガ造りの洒落た建物で幹線沿いばかりでなく、裏の田園からでも、かなり目立ちます。玄関左手には四角形の池があり、ニシキゴイが泳いでいます。今では取り壊された旧新発田市役所も玄関脇に、池がありましたが維持管理が大変な為、使われなくなりましたのに、ここでは、今でもきちんと管理されています。
It is a government building that was built when the Toyoura district was an independent Toyoura town before it became a part of Shibata City after the Great Heisei merger. It is a stylish building made of red brick, and it stands out not only along the main line but also from the back countryside. There is a square pond on the left side of the entrance, and Nishikigoi is swimming. The former Shibata City Hall, which had been demolished, now has a pond by the entrance, but it is no longer used because it is difficult to maintain and manage, but it is still properly managed here.
