境内の天然記念物の伊吹は見事。
昔は参拝客で大いに賑わい、出店が出ていてサーカスも来るほどの賑わいだったらしい。

御朱印をお願いすると、本殿に案内されて毘沙門天様を参拝させてもらえます。

この石塔婆は1294年建立で、国宝 に指定されています。
もう一つ、御本尊阿弥陀如来も国宝ですが、写真が撮れませんでした。
境内には、大きな銀杏と広島県指定の天然記念物の御寺のイブキビャクシンがあります。
本堂内は自由に見ることができ、おみくじや御守りなどが売っています。
人が来ないところなので、
ゆっくり見ることができました。
境内や本堂内の雰囲気が大好きです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 歴史ある素晴らしいお寺ですよ。鈴虫、松虫と上流貴族の娘のお墓や像があります。解説板が錆びついて読めませんが、隠れた名所だと思います。
御朱印あります。御住職より、各種丁寧な説明をいただき、色々な発見と気づきをいただけました。木も凄いですよ。
