通常の門と変わっていて、山門や四足門などと違い、鐘楼堂にちかい形をした門。
太鼓門と呼んでいることから、おそらく太鼓を打ち鳴らしていたのだろうと、勝手に想像してしまいます。
上部の櫓部分に潜入出来ませんでしたので、上がどうなっているのかはわかりません。詳細のわかる方、もしくはオーナーにクチコミ追加して頂けるとありがたいと思います。
A gate in the precincts of Chorakuji.
It is different from the usual gate, and unlike the Sanmon and Shikyakumon, it has a shape similar to that of a bell tower.
Since it is called the Taiko Gate, I can imagine that it was probably beating the drum.
I couldn't infiltrate the upper turret, so I don't know what's going on above. We would appreciate it if you could add word-of-mouth information to those who understand the details or the owner.

長楽寺三仏堂及び太鼓門より抜粋
太鼓門は、鼓楼ともいわれ、三仏堂の西に隣接して立ち、様式手法等により江戸時代初期のもので、その後、三仏堂同様に修理を経て現在に至っている。
桁行三間、梁間三間、袴腰付き、入母屋造、銅板葺、東向き、中央一間扉構、上部は四周に縁をめぐらし、高欄が付く。正・背面の中央間に火灯窓、嵌板に華麗な彩色透彫文様を施す。楼上に太鼓をかけ、寺の諸行事の合図に使用した。

Gunma Prefecture Important Cultural Property [Taikomon]
Excerpt from Chorakuji Sanbutsudo and Taikomon
The Taikomon, also known as the Drum Tower, stands adjacent to the west of the Sanbutsudo and was built in the early Edo period by means of stylistic techniques.
Three girders, three girders, with a hakama waist, Irimoya-zukuri, copper plate roof, facing east, central one-room door structure, the upper part is surrounded by four laps and has a balustrade. A splendid colored transparent engraving pattern is applied to the firelight window and the fitting plate between the center of the front and back. A drum was hung on the roof and used as a signal for various temple events.
