★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 中電が所有する発電専用、重力式コンクリートダム。寸又峡渓谷尾崎坂展望台から徒歩で片道約2時間弱、ライトがないとキツい隧道が3つあり、落石もありの酷道の先にある。
Gravity-type concrete dam dedicated to power generation owned by Chuden. It is about 2 hours on foot from Ozaki Saka Observatory on the foot of the Sumata Gorge, and there are three hard roads with no lights.

林業全盛期には千頭地方は賑やかで、切り立った谷に森林鉄道が更に奥地に張り巡らされていた情景、寸又峡温泉地が大勢の労働者で賑わっていた情景、現代の労働安全基準ほど徹底していない、危険で、大勢の人の命がけの場所でもあった事、ダムの細部、状態を観察すると様々な思い、時間の流れに感動します。この先、光岳に行く人がいるなんて信じられない。

During the heyday of forestry, the Sento region was lively, with forest railways stretched further into the remote valleys, and the Sumatakyo hot spring area was crowded with many workers, as much as modern labor safety standards. Observing the details and condition of the dam, which was not thorough, dangerous, and a place where many people were killed, I was impressed by various thoughts and the passage of time. I can't believe there are people going to Mt. Tekari in the future.
