It feels like a feeling of discrimination against outsiders. Our mouth temperature and courtesy. The seller has always been dismissive. If you can come back, I must not buy it. (My friend is also angry.)

Par contre le vendeur n'est pas prêt à faire des efforts de communication, venez préparés en sachant ce que vous voulez (traduit en japonais) et tout se passera bien ! Sinon passez votre chemin et allez dans les magasins pour touristes ! Pour avoir plus de pédagogie, il vaut mieux aller directement dans les régions de production. 5 stars for the quality of the tools offered for sale. By cons the seller is not ready to make communication efforts, come prepared knowing what you want (translated into Japanese) and everything will be fine! Otherwise go your way and go to the tourist shops! To have more education, it is better to go directly to the production regions.

Maybe the store doesn’t look so kind, but it’s definitely a must-see for those looking for great tools. shop.
逆	逆引甘太 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 亡き父の道具入れにこちらの店名が記載されていたので、少なくとも50年以上この地で営業されていると思います。この地は火事が多かった江戸を再建する大工が集まり、現在も名残の工務店が密集する知られざる職人町です。かっぱ橋道具街の近くですが、古くからの大工師弟制度を支えて来た店なので、海外の方は安易に来店すべきではないと思います。少なくとも日本語でのコミュニケーションが出来るか、近辺の工務店の紹介で行かれた方が良いと思います。 Since this store name was described in the deceased father's tool case, I think it has been operating here for at least 50 years. It is a must-have store. Business hours are weekdays (Monday-Friday) 9: 30-16: 30 Regular holidays are Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (Confirmed with the owner at the 2021/7/12 store) It seems that the shutter will be closed once during the lunch break (around 12:00 to 13:00).

S	Stephane on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Same feedback as others before me. The owner is incredibly rude and unhelpful and clearly does not want to sell to foreigners. I arrived there 20 mn before the closure (4.10pm for 4.30pm) and at first he was trying to not let me in by insisting on showing me his watch. Eventually he did let me him, took me to his counter where he quite grumpily showed me one set of what clearly seemed to be the cheapest and crappiest chisels he had and then stared at me while moaning and smoking. After 30 seconds he then showed me his watch again... I left. I won't force anyone selling me stuff he doesn't want to sell .
