Y	Yagiyama Izumi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 遺跡跡に復元した竪穴式住居には実際入ってみることもできます。広い敷地内は子供がのびのび走れ回れます。小さい子がいる人は、建物裏手の第2駐車場が段差もなく入場できるので便利です。 You can actually enter the pit dwelling restored to the archeological site. In the large site, children can run around at ease. For those who have small children, the 2nd parking lot behind the building can be entered without a step.
Y	Y on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 広場には、竪穴式住居(x3)やその他生活跡が復元されています。私が行った時は、どんぐりが沢山転がっていて、拾い放題でした。ガイダンス施設では出土物の常設展示と企画展示、企画室では土器や石器などの製作体験が出来ます。製作体験は、300円〜とかですので、非常にお手頃です。ショップは、ハガキやスクウェアハンカチ、手ぬぐい、Tシャツなどしか売っておらず、少ない印象はありましたが、規模や費用を考えると十分です。それと。限られた予算の中で頑張っているのは重々承知なのですが...。看板が少ないです。電柱とか、あんまり目立たないところにしかないのが、勿体無い！と思います。 Pit-house dwellings (x3) and other living traces have been restored in the plaza. 関	関清志 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年10月16日に見学しました。昭和55年1980年に発掘調査が行われ、旧石器時代から江戸時代まで、幅広い年代層の遺跡が発見された場所です。中でも紀元前2000年(縄文時代中期末　大木10式期)頃の竪穴式住居集落を復元展示しています。この山田上ノ台遺跡からは、土器と河原石を組み合わせた複式炉が見つかっています。東北地方南部に見られる特徴的な資料です。大木式土器も多数発掘され、実物を館内で見ることが出来ます。復元された竪穴式住居は、岩手県の御所野遺跡と同様、土屋根タイプになっています。敷地内に漆の木を育てていて、感心しました。月曜日は、休館です。大人200円の入館料でした。 We visited on October 16, 2021. From this Yamadauenodai site, a compound furnace that combines earthenware and river stones has been found. This is a characteristic material found in the southern part of the Tohoku region. Many large wooden pottery have been excavated, and you can see the real thing in the hall. The restored pit-house dwelling has a clay roof type, similar to the Goshono site in Iwate prefecture. I was impressed by the fact that I was growing lacquer trees on the premises. Closed on Mondays. The admission fee was 200 yen for adults.

J	Jerfareza D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had fun visiting this place. To be honest I was expecting a bigger site, but this place is enough to satisfy your curiosity about Jomon period in ancient Sendai. The facility provides a lot of activities for kids so this is the perfect spot for families. Note: The access is a bit hard if you have to rely on public transportation though, so make sure you check bus schedule beforehand.
