濱	濱乃翔穏 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 赤岩寺（せきがんじ）は、聖武天皇の勅願により行基菩薩が奈良時代の726年に創建した寺院です。創建当初は「赤岩山法言寺」と称していましたが、平安時代の857年に空海（弘法大師）弟子が中興し、高野山真言宗に改宗しました。本尊の平安時代作、木造聖観音立像は豊橋市指定文化財に、鎌倉時代作の木造愛染明王坐像は国の重要文化財に指定されています。 Sekiganji is a temple built by Gyoki Bosatsu in 726 during the Nara period at the request of Emperor Shomu. When it was first built, it was called "Akaiwayama Hogonji", but in 857 during the Heian period, a disciple of Kukai (Kobo Daishi) was promoted and converted to Koyasan Shingon sect. The wooden statue of Holy Kannon, which was made in the Heian period, is designated as a cultural property designated by Toyohashi City, and the wooden statue of Aizen Myo, which is made in the Kamakura period, is designated as an important cultural property of the country.
