★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 長良川鉄道で関駅発で郡上八幡行は本数が少なく、関駅の無料駐車場に駐車後は近隣で時間調整が必要です。お寺・施設 喫茶店のモーニングを楽しみましょう。行は良いですが、郡上八幡からの帰りは満員電車でした。長良川の景色が楽しめるのは行きだけです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昭和の時代が漂う ほのぼのとした駅ですね、長良川鉄道の看板 観光列車《ながら》が三両有り 内 一両が 駅舎横の車庫に有り もう一両が 関駅をお客を乗せて発車していきました。駅舎横のトイレも とても⤴️⤴️綺麗で 管理が行き届いています。

鉄印をもらいに訪問しました。
もたもたしていたら「電車出ますよー」と声をかけてくれたり、地方に根付いたローカル線の駅だなと感じました。
廃れているという感じはそれほどせず、田舎の駅だなという感じでした。

窓口でお土産に買ったホワイトチョコのラングドシャ￥800は、美味しいと好評でした。
トイレもきれいです。

一昔前までは岐阜駅前からここまで名鉄美濃町線が伸びていました。軌道跡が残っています。今では名古屋駅まで高速バスがあって断然早くて便利。でも長良川鉄道は話題作りが上手くて三セクのなかでも善戦してます。個人的には国鉄塗装好きです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 長良川鉄道の拠点駅。駅舎は外見上大きくなく、駅ホーム二面二線の相対式ホームしかないので、小さい駅の印象を受けるが、長良川鉄道の車庫が設置されているので、駅構内は意外と広い。
駅そのものは、自由に出入りできるものの、列車の到着・出発がなくても、運用に入っていない車両の入換作業が有るので注意が必要。
隣接するバスターミナル、関シティターミナルとは、上屋の付いた通路で繋がっている。
短い間、名鉄美濃町線が乗り入れていた時期があり、白鳥方面のホームの一番、美濃太田寄りに、その痕跡を見る事ができる。
