If you want to get a cheap bento I recommend to come around 19-20 pm, because that's the time they usually put the discount stickers on the bento. They starting first with 10% up to 50%. The prices are shown without tax and you have to pay for a plastic bag.
D	David Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's the Japanese version of the US neighborhood Walmart grocery store, except it's three-stories, has a few small restaurants inside, and oddly American Express is their preferred credit card of choice. The good things of this particular Seiyu were that: it was very close to a business hotel I was staying at, the prices on most items were quite reasonable, and it's open 24 hours (very helpful if you're suffering from jet-lag). Prices and selection of beers in this store was fairly good. The few disappointments of this particular Seiyu were: neither the bento-boxes or the sushi tasted as if it were made fresh (had a "frozen" aftertaste to what I ate), you need to bring your own shopping bag (not a big bother, but you have to pay for a bag if you don't have one), and there wasn't a large selection of some items (mostly wine - no malbec's to be found). If you show up around 6 or 7 PM, the prices of their bento-boxes and sushi that wasn't sold during the day drop significantly. Keep in mind that most of the store restaurants start to close at this time as well.
